Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew Review

While I am not a big coffee drinker, my husband loves a cup every morning. On a recent shopping trip, I came across Starbucks Via Italian Roast and decided to purchase it for him to try. If you haven’t heard about Starbucks Via, here is some information from their website:

This is not instant coffee as you know it. This is rich, flavorful Starbucks® coffee in an instant.

Starbucks has found a way to offer a truly great cup of coffee that you can prepare by just adding water. Other instant coffees taste flat and lifeless. Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew is different – it’s full-bodied and flavorful, just like the Starbucks® coffee you know and love.

It’s made with the highest-quality, ethically sourced 100% arabica beans. The magic is in a proprietary, all-natural process that we spent years perfecting. We microgrind the coffee in a way that preserves all of their essential oils and flavor. No other coffee company takes this step, and it makes all the difference.

A big, bold, full-bodied cup of coffee, worthy of the Italian coffee tradition.

Now you can enjoy our bold and roasty-sweet Italian Roast in an instant. Just tear open a pack of Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew and add water. Let the coffee brew 10 seconds, stir, savor and enjoy.

It’s not instant coffee the way you know it. This is genuine, dark-roasted Starbucks® coffee. 100% arabica and ethically sourced. Isn’t it wonderful? There’s now an instant coffee that you can start a whole new tradition with.

Currently, they have three different flavors of the Ready Brew:

Columbia: The rich and smooth aroma of a real cup of coffee. Because that’s what it is.

There’s never been an instant like this. With Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew, at last there’s an instant coffee you can enjoy at home that’s as good as fresh-brewed Starbucks® coffee.

This is 100% Colombian arabica coffee, ethically sourced. To enjoy it, all you have to do is tear open a pack and add water. Let the coffee brew 10 seconds and stir. Then enjoy the rich, smooth taste, with that signature walnut-like taste found in great Colombian coffees.

Enjoy with:  The hotel’s continental breakfast and complimentary newspaper.

Italian Roast: A big, bold, full-bodied cup of coffee, worthy of the Italian coffee tradition.

Enjoy with:  A breakfast bar and minutes to spare on your morning commute.

Decaf Italian Roast: We believe anytime is a great time for great coffee.

When we set out to create Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew, we wanted an outstanding cup of coffee that we could enjoy anywhere, at any moment.

That’s even more true with new Starbucks VIA® Decaf Italian Roast, because now “anytime” includes those occasions that call for the rich, bold taste of coffee – but not the caffeine. An after-dinner dessert? A late, late study break? A nightcap on the town? You’ll find all of these situations (and a thousand more) are perfect for our high-quality, 100% arabica, naturally decaffeinated instant coffee.

Enjoy with:  Roasted marshmallows around a roaring campfire at night.

The instructions for making this are extremely simple. All you have to do is add the packet to 8 ounces of hot water and enjoy!

This morning, my husband tried his first cup and was impressed. He said it was better than any other instant coffee he has ever tried. I will definitely be purchasing this in the future for him for daily use at home as well as to take along on vacations. I highly recommend this product to anyone who enjoys coffee and doesn't want to brew or purchase each cup!

Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer Review

While browsing the cleaning supplies aisle on a recent shopping trip to Target, I came across Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer. I read the back of the bottle and decided to give it a shot.

From their website you can learn the following about the product:

The benefits of Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer:

• Fast, easy daily use keeps shower clean of soap scum and mold & mildew stains
• Power Sprayer provides better coverage for easier cleaning
• Makes shower cleaning quick, simple and easy
• Use NEW Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer to keep your bathroom cleaner, longer.

Works on most shower and tub surfaces, including fiberglass, acrylic and plastic, and on plastic or synthetic shower curtains, though it may lighten fabric such as cottons. Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer is also safe on all bath-care products like shampoo, soap and bath sponges.

DO NOT USE on brass, natural marble or finished wood surfaces.

Directions for use: Before showering, run water in the shower/tub area to rinse floor surface. Always stand on a non-slip surface when in shower or tub.

o Remove clear tab from white lock switch. Place switch in the unlocked position.
o Immediately after showering, squeeze and hold trigger to spray all wet surfaces including the curtain or door. Lightly spray 8–12 inches from surface to cover evenly.
o No need to scrub, wipe or rinse.

HELPFUL HINTS: For best results, start with a clean shower. Use daily to prevent the buildup of soap scum and mold & mildew stains. Even if you start with a dirty shower, Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer will begin cleaning soap scum and mold & mildew stains on contact. Results guaranteed after 14–21 days. To keep your shower clean, continue to use daily after the last shower of the day.

Frequently asked questions:
1. What are the Scrubbing Bubbles® Power Sprayers?
The Scrubbing Bubbles® Power Sprayers are bathroom and shower cleaners with a battery-operated ergonomic trigger that releases a continuous, evenly dispersed spray by simply holding down the trigger. The Power Sprayers are available as Scrubbing Bubbles® Extend-A-Clean™ Power Sprayer and Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer.

Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer is a patented formula that, when used daily, cleans a dirty shower in 14-21 days and keeps a clean shower clean from day one.

2. How do I use the Scrubbing Bubbles® Power Sprayers?
The Power Sprayers are purchased with a clear tab securing the safety lock in the lock position. Remove the clear tab from the white lock switch and discard. Place the switch in the unlock position. Squeeze and hold the trigger for continuous spray.

When using the Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer, lightly spray the surface, covering evenly. No need to wipe or rinse.

3. What differentiates this product from traditional triggers?
With manual triggers, consumers have to “pull” the trigger several times to cover the surface and the result is splotchy, uneven coverage. The Power Sprayers deliver broad, even coverage on bathroom surfaces with just one touch.

4. What is the difference between the current daily shower cleaner vs. the Power Sprayers?
Both Power Sprayers have the one-touch continuous sprayer, which traditional triggers do not have. There are also formula benefits.

The Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer formula is similar to the Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Shower Cleaner formula and should be used daily after the last shower of the day. The Power Sprayer is great for the entire shower/tub enclosure and for spot treating problem areas. For best results, start with a clean shower and the formula will keep the clean shower clean.

5. Does the shower, once coated with Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner, become slippery?
No. The cleaning solution will dry to a clear, non-slippery film between showers to prevent soap scum and hard-water spots.

6. How long will the triggers last?
The triggers are designed to last approximately two years.

7. How long will the batteries last?
Battery life will vary based on usage, however, on average, the two AA batteries (included) will last approximately eight refill bottles. To change the batteries, use a number 1 or 2 Phillips head screw driver to open the battery compartment.

8. Are these solutions safe to use around children and pets?
The products should always be used according to the label directions. If this is followed, the solutions can be used around children and pets. Note that the products are not toys. They should always be stored with the safety lock in the lock position and kept out of the reach of children and pets.

9. Can I use the Scrubbing Bubbles® Extend-A-Clean™ and Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner together?
Scrubbing Bubbles® Extend-A-Clean™ and Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner can be used together with no issues.

10. Can I use the Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner and Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Shower Cleaner together?
Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner and Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Shower Cleaner can be used together with no issues. The Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner is great for hard-to-reach areas that the Scrubbing Bubbles® Automatic Shower Cleaner might miss and to target trouble areas.

11. Can the Power Sprayer trigger be used on other bathroom cleaner bottles?
The trigger cannot be used on other trigger products including Scrubbing Bubbles® products. They are not interchangeable between products; use the Scrubbing Bubbles® Extend-A-Clean™ Power Sprayer trigger with Scrubbing Bubbles® Extend-A-Clean™ refills and Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayer trigger with Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower refills.

12. Does the solution have a fragrance? If so, what is it like?
Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner has a fresh, clean scent

13. Are there surfaces that should be avoided when using these products?
Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner should not be used on the following surfaces:
Brass, Bronze, Copper, Limestone, Marble(Natural or Polished), Painted Surfaces, Polystyrene Tub Surrounds, Travertine (Limestone/Marble) or Finished/Painted Wood.

14. Where can I find the Scrubbing Bubbles® Power Sprayers?
Scrubbing Bubbles® Extend-A-Clean™ and Scrubbing Bubbles® Daily Shower Cleaner Power Sprayers can be found in your local supermarket, drug store or mass merchandise store, next to your other favorite Scrubbing Bubbles® products.

As you can see, you can start with either a clean or a dirty shower. If you start with a clean shower, it will keep your shower clean and the only action required on your part is to spray the shower when you get out…which really isn’t a hard task. If you start with a dirty shower, it will have your shower clean within 14 days. I can’t attest to that claim since I started with a clean shower, but since it works so well at keeping the shower clean..I can’t see why it wouldn’t clean a dirty shower.

I clean our bathrooms weekly and my least favorite part has always been the showers. I dislike cleaning showers so much that I tried to only have one shower get used a week so I didn’t have to clean them all. :-) However, since using this product, I don’t mind cleaning the showers weekly. I wouldn’t even classify what I do to the showers weekly now as cleaning. I simply spray some cleaner on the walls and wipe it quick…takes me about 2 minutes. So…you might wonder, since it saves me so much time during my weekly cleaning, it must take time somewhere else. Wrong! It takes about 30 seconds to spray the whole shower with the continuous sprayer (it has a motor so all you do is hold in the trigger, no need to pull the trigger about 100 times, you might be thinking...how lazy...but once you use it, you will love it!). After I spray the cleaner on the shower, the scrubbing bubbles go to work and make my job much easier!! Everything is very simple!!

I definitely recommend you trying this product. You will wonder how you lived without it!

Top Reasons to Cruise

Top 9 Reasons to Cruise

If you're trying to decide between a land-based trip or a cruise, these nine reasons may help tip the balance. From the dining rituals to the Old World charm of some ships, cruising has something for everyone.

By Heidi Sarna
June 10, 2010

Reason #1: I can turn off my brain. Well, if only. But I can certainly turn down the volume, clear the static, chuck the map, and revel in the fact that someone else is driving, cooking, and making my bed. Sure, a hotel also cleans up after guests, and restaurants on land are stocked with food, but cruising takes you somewhere without making you worry about the details. Even if it's somewhere you've already visited, the journey on a cruise matters as much as the destination.

Reason #2: I know the kids will have fun. My 7½-year-olds boys are at the perfect age for enjoying cruises, and as a family, we've tested out many kid-friendly cruise lines. My guys can go with the flow, and they aren't shy about making new friends -- on a recent cruise, their best friend was a Russian kid who didn't speak a word of English. The boys truly enjoy spending time in cruise-ship playrooms, whether it's the small and low-frills digs on a ship like the Costa Allegra or the over-the-top theme park-like spaces on Disney (www.disneycruise.disney.go.com), Carnival (www.carnival.com), and Royal Caribbean (www.royalcaribbean.com) ships. In port, my guys love sampling local ice cream and pizza, taking hikes, and giving local transportation a try (from tuk-tuks in Thailand to horse-drawn carriages in Naples).

Reason #3: I appreciate the comfort level. Just like a snuggly old quilt you wrap yourself in while watching TV, cruising over the years has become my travel equivalent of comfort food. I like the rituals of a cruise, from checking in at hangar-size terminal to walking toward the gangway with the anticipation of what our new home will be like for the next week or two. It's a cheap thrill to walk down the narrow ship corridors looking for your cabin, and then exploring the ship to see where everything is located. I know the cabin steward is always nearby to make sure everything is ok and that we're always just steps from restaurants, entertainment, and, of course, the sea.

Reason #4: I get a kick out of the other passengers. The tired old cliché about cruise ships being floating cities is very true. A cruise is a boatload of humanity in all shapes and sizes from all over the world. The people-watching is prime, and the opportunities to make new friends are plentiful. There's something about being literally stuck with a random community of travelers that creates a bond you'll rarely feel in a land-based hotel.

Reason #5: I love the shippy stuff. What is it about that ship horn moaning farewell to a port or the chirpy cruise director's voice announcing upcoming activities over the PA system? Call me a sap, but I like it. I like the hum of the engines, the sound of the wind whipping across the open decks, and the excitement of leaning over the railings to watch the ship being tied up at a pier in a new port.

Reason #6: I get into the dining ritual. While I appreciate that ships now have flexible dining options to accommodate everyone, for the most part, my family and I still enjoy heading for the main restaurant. We like getting dressed for dinner, strolling past the smartly dressed wait staff and the charming maÃŽtre'd, and finding our dining our table laid out beautifully with gleaming dinnerware and crisp linens. My kids like the friendly waiters and drawing on their kiddy menus, while my husband and I like perusing the adult menu and deciding which courses we want to sample (all of them, of course!).

Reason #7: I'm sucker for nostalgia. Though the cruise experience is getting closer to a land-based resort experience, many ships still have a strong whiff of the old world. The tradition of travel by sea is alive and well, with officers decked out in handsome uniforms and retro activities like Bingo and ballroom dance lessons still all the rage. I love sipping my sauvignon blanc in some dimly-lit lounge as a crooner tickles the ivories and sings Frank Sinatra songs. I appreciate the slow pace of ship travel and the way a vessel relies on the whims of nature.

Reason #8: I like being lulled to sleep by the rhythms of the sea. For me, the subtle movement of the ship as it rides the waves and the cradle-like rocking is relaxing. The movement feels organic to me and taps some basic need to feel connected to nature in a way that a car or an airplane can't manage. Better yet, come bedtime, the undulating rhythm of the ship on water puts me in snooze mood the minute I hit the pillow.

Reason #9: I value the safe and secure environment. While I definitely have an adventurous streak and rate hiking the Inca Trail and camping in Africa among my favorite experiences, I'm also drawn to security. The safety on cruise ships makes it a cozy nest to call home for a week and that feeling breeds a peace of mind that really is, after all, what a vacation is all about.

iPhone 4 - Details

As most of you already know, the iPhone 4 was annouced at the 2010 WWDC held in San Francisco. After reading about it for the past couple of hours, I thought I would compile a list of the new features of my next purchase :-)

1. All new design. The new phone is very thin, only 9.3mm. It has a stainless steel outer cover that doubles as the antenna for Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, UMTS, and GSM. There’s a camera and LED flash on the back, and two microphones for noise cancellation (like the Nexus One). There’s a black and a white version.

2. Retina Display. Thanks to the Retina display, everything you see and do on iPhone 4 looks amazing. Text in books, web pages, and email is crisp at any size. Images in movies and photos are stunning at almost any angle. That’s because the Retina display’s pixel density is so high, your eye is unable to distinguish individual pixels.

In a word, resolutionary - By developing pixels a mere 78 micrometers wide, Apple engineers were able to pack four times the number of pixels into the same 3.5-inch (diagonal) screen found on earlier iPhone models. The resulting pixel density of iPhone 4 — 326 pixels per inch — makes text and graphics look smooth and continuous at any size.

Brilliant, no matter how you look at it. - The iPhone 4 Retina display uses technology called IPS (in-plane switching) — the same technology used in the Apple LED Cinema Display and iPad — to achieve a wider viewing angle than on typical LCDs. Which means you can hold iPhone 4 almost any way you want and still get a brilliant picture. That’s perfect when you’re sharing photos with a friend or moving your iPhone around while playing a driving or flying game. In addition, the Retina display offers four times the contrast ratio of previous models, so whites are brighter, blacks are darker, and everything is more beautiful.

Advancements in the glass. And under it. - Made from the same materials used in helicopters and high-speed trains, the Retina display glass is chemically strengthened to be harder, more scratch resistant, and more durable than ever. The glass also features an oil-resistant coating that helps keep the screen clean.

The Retina display includes LED backlighting and an ambient light sensor that intelligently adjusts the brightness of the screen for optimal viewing and battery life. When you lift iPhone to your ear for a phone call, a proximity sensor immediately turns off the display to save power and prevent accidental dialing.

3. New processor. The iPhone 4 will use the same A4 chip used in the iPad. Along with a bigger battery, the chip provides up to 7 hours talk time, 6 hours 3G browsing, and 300 hours of standby. Up to 32GB of storage is provided.

4. Gyroscope. The new device has a real gyroscope in addition to the accelerometer that is standard now in most smart phones. The combination gives you 6-axis motion sensing. Developers can use a new CoreMotion API for extremely precise movements. The standard compass, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor is there too.

5. Camera. Never miss a photo opportunity. The 5-megapixel camera built into iPhone 4 captures amazingly detailed images. A built-in LED flash illuminates low-light scenes. And the 5x digital zoom gets you closer to the action. You can even shoot self-portraits with the front camera.

Built-in LED flash. At a candlelit dinner, on the beach at night, or wherever the light’s not bright, you can still get great shots with iPhone 4. The advanced backside illumination sensor allows you to shoot low-light photos that are brighter and clearer than ever before. And iPhone 4 now includes a built-in LED flash that automatically fires when it’s needed.

Self-portraits made simple. Want to take a picture of yourself? The new VGA-quality front camera on iPhone 4 makes it easy. No need to flip your iPhone around to guess where you are in the frame. Instead, just activate the front camera with a tap, check your image on the display, and shoot.

Tap to focus. Autofocus keeps things sharp and the macro lens takes great close-ups. But you can also tap the iPhone display to focus on anything in the picture — a face in the background, for example — before you take the photo. Focusing also adjusts exposure and white balance automatically, so you get the best-quality photo possible.

Share your photos. Send photos via email or MMS from the Camera app. Or post them directly to your MobileMe gallery, where friends and family can browse and download them. Every photo you take is geotagged with information about your location, which you can save to your computer and share with iPhoto, Aperture, Flickr, and other compatible applications and services.

6. iOS 4. Formerly called “iPhone OS 4“, the new operating system has a ton of new features including multitasking, unified inbox, conversation threading, and so forth. Google will still be the default search engine on the iPhone but users will have the option of choosing Yahoo or Microsoft Bing.

The name change simply reflects that the same system will be running on iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The golden master candidate of iOS 4 is being released to developers today. iOS 4 will be free to all 3GS, 3G, and iPod Touch 2nd generation users on June 21st.

7. iBooks - Ebooks as you’ve never seen them before.  The iBooks app is now available as a free download for iPhone, so you can read your favorite books anywhere. On iPhone 4, the high-resolution Retina display renders every page beautifully. Vibrant colors, rich illustrations, and crisp, sharp text make reading a pleasure. Turn pages by tapping the right or left side of the screen or by dragging the page corner (just like a real book). Jump to a different part of the book by visiting the table of contents and tapping a chapter. When you’re finished reading, iBooks bookmarks where you left off. It syncs with iPad, too, so the story you started on your iPhone can be finished on your iPad.

An entire library in your pocket. More than an amazing ebook reader, iBooks is also a great place to browse and shop for books anytime, day or night. Browse tens of thousands of books on the iBookstore.* Search by title, author, or genre. View what’s featured on the iBookstore, best-seller lists, and more. When you find a book you like, tap it to see more details, peruse reviews, even read a sample. Download the book and it appears on your bookshelf.

Try more titles. Including PDFs. Because iBooks uses the ePub format — the most popular open book format in the world — it’s easy for publishers to create iBooks versions of your favorite reads. You can add free ePub titles to iTunes on your Mac or PC and sync them to iBooks on your iPhone. iBooks also supports PDFs, so you can sync your PDFs and read them using iBooks.

Change your reading habits.  Unlike paper books — or ebooks on other devices — you can change books on iPhone to suit the way you read. Adjust the brightness. Change the text size or the font. You can also touch and hold any word to look it up in the built-in dictionary or Wikipedia, or to search for it throughout the book and on the web. Highlight text and refer to it later. iBooks even works with VoiceOver, the screen reader in iPhone, so it can read you the contents of any page.

8. iAds. Advertisements allow developers to make money on free and low-cost apps in the App Store. With the new iAd platform, there’s a standardized, supported platform to create in-app ads that don’t bounce the user out into the browser. Apple sells and hosts the ads, and developers get a 60% cut via iTunes connect (the same way you get paid for your apps).

iAds will be enabled July 1st but Apple has been selling spots for 8 weeks. So far they’ve sold over $60 million. JP Morgan estimated the entire mobile ad market to be worth $250 million this year, so that’s a significant number.

9. FaceTime. People have been dreaming about video calling for decades. iPhone 4 makes it a reality. With the tap of a button, you can wave hello to your kids, share a smile from across the globe, or watch your best friend laugh at your stories — iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 over Wi-Fi. No other phone makes staying in touch this much fun.

One-tap simple. FaceTime works right out of the box — no need to set up a special account or screen name. And using FaceTime is as easy as it gets. Let’s say you want to start a video call with your best friend. Just find her entry in your Contacts and tap the FaceTime button. Or maybe you’re already on a voice call with her and you want to switch to video. Just tap the FaceTime button on the Phone screen. Either way, an invitation pops up on her iPhone 4 screen asking if she wants to join you. When she accepts, the video call begins. It’s all perfectly seamless. And it works in both portrait and landscape modes.

iPhone 4 has two built-in cameras, one on the front above the display and one on the back next to the LED flash. The front camera has been tuned for FaceTime. It has just the right field of view and focal length to focus on your face at arm’s length. So it always presents you in the best possible light.

Share what you see with the back camera.  Imagine your sister is away at school and can’t make it to your son’s birthday. So you’re cheering her up with a FaceTime call. As the cupcakes come out, your son’s eyes light up, and you just have to share it. Tap a button, and before you can say, “Make a wish,” iPhone 4 switches to the back camera, and to the birthday boy's big moment. Another tap switches back to the front camera and to you. Simple, fast, and fun.

10. Multitasking. – Done The Right Way. Now you can run your favorite third-party apps — and switch between them instantly — without slowing down the performance of the foreground app or draining the battery unnecessarily. This smarter approach to multitasking is available only on iPhone.

Switch between apps quickly. The multitasking user interface allows you to quickly switch between recently used apps. Just double-click the Home button to reveal your recently used apps. Scroll right to see more apps, then tap one to reopen it. No need to wait for the app to reload.

And pick up right where you left off.  Apps can remember where you left off. So when you return to the app, you can jump right back into playing your game, reading the news, finding a restaurant, or whatever you were doing.

Listen to audio in the background.  Now you can listen to audio from compatible third-party apps while checking email, surfing the web, playing games, and performing other tasks. So when you want to follow a ball game or listen to music from Pandora, your productivity never skips a beat.

Get VoIP calls while using other apps.  Third-party apps such as Skype let you make voice calls over the Internet. Multitasking in iPhone 4 makes it possible to receive these Skype or VoIP calls while other apps are running, even when your iPhone is locked. And during a call, you can keep the conversation going while you switch to another task, such as checking a movie listing or reading an email.

Keep GPS apps running.  Apps that use GPS can continue to run in the background. Not only do they constantly update your position, they can also give you spoken turn-by-turn directions even as you listen to music (the music volume lowers while the directions are spoken). It’s perfect for social networking apps, too. Now you and your friends can find each other even when you’re not actively using the app.

Receive push and local notifications. Third-party apps and services can send alerts and messages directly to your phone. So you can get sports scores, news updates, game requests, reminders, alarms, and more the moment they happen, without having to open the app that’s providing the notification.

Complete tasks in the background.  If you’re performing a task that’s taking awhile — such as uploading pictures to a photo service — you can switch to another app without interrupting the task. No more waiting around.

11. HD Video Recording - Because your iPhone goes with you everywhere, you’re always ready to capture every moment. And with iPhone 4, you can do it in stunning high definition. Its advanced backside illumination sensor delivers great-looking video in both bright and low-light settings. And in dark environments, you can brighten the scene with the built-in LED light.

Edit video right on iPhone.  No need to wait until you’re back at your computer to edit video. You can perform basic editing right in the Camera app. Just drag to select start and end points on a filmstrip.

Turn your video clips into a finished movie. With iMovie on iPhone 4. You’re on vacation, and you want to create a video postcard of everything you did that day and share it with your family. Just use the iMovie app — coming soon to the App Store for just $4.99. Built just for iPhone 4, iMovie lets you combine and edit video clips, polish your movies with dynamic themes and transitions, add music and photos, and share your finished movies with the world.

Tap to focus video.  Say you’re recording a scene with subjects in both the foreground and the background. How do you make sure the camera focuses where you want? Just tap that part of the image on the iPhone 4 display. The camera immediately focuses on it and adjusts exposure to match the lighting. When you want to focus on another part of the scene, just tap again.

Make a video self-portrait.  In addition to the high-definition camera on the back, iPhone 4 has a VGA-quality camera on the front, above the display, that lets you see yourself while you record. So it’s perfect for taking a video self-portrait — no more guessing if you’re in the frame or accidentally cropping yourself out altogether.

Share video anywhere.  Say you’re in the middle of a text message conversation when you see something video-worthy. Tap the camera icon in Messages to record on the fly and send it to your buddy via MMS. Or select some video from the Camera Roll and attach it to a new email message, ready to send. Publishing to your MobileMe gallery or to YouTube is also just a tap away. And you can easily sync all the video you shoot on iPhone 4 back to your Mac or PC.

12. Folders - Make room for more apps.  Thanks to the App Store, you can choose from over 200,000 apps and games. But these apps can fill your Home screens pretty quickly. That’s where the new Folders feature comes in. It gives you an easy way to keep your apps organized and declutter your Home screens. And you can launch your favorite apps with a couple of taps.

Creating a folder is easy. To create a folder, touch and hold an app until it wiggles, drag it onto another app, and you’re done. You can repeat the process with more apps. For example, you can put all the games your daughter plays in one folder, all your news apps in another, and all your productivity apps in yet another. You can also create folders and organize apps using iTunes on your Mac or PC, then sync it all back to your iPhone.

Naming your folders — it’s automatic. iPhone automatically assigns a name to your folder based on the category of the apps inside it: Games, News, Sports, and so on. Of course, you can change the folder names to whatever you want, such as Katie’s Games or Baseball Apps.

Download apps to your heart’s content.  You can have up to 180 folders on your iPhone. And since each folder can hold 12 apps, that means you can keep up to 2160 apps organized on your iPhone at any time. Which is a great way to use all those gigabytes of storage available in iPhone 4.

So how much is all this going to cost you? With a 2 year contract, $199 for the 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model. AT&T will let you upgrade to an iPhone 4 6 months earlier than usual if you re-up for another 2 years.
Preorders start June 15th, with the phone in stores on June 24th. 18 more countries in July, 24 more in August, and 40 more in September (total of 88 countries).

One accessory that I will definitely be trying is the "Bumpers for iPhone 4"  the description is: Dress up your iPhone 4 with a Bumper. Choose one of six colors — white, black, blue, green, orange, or pink — and slip it around the edge of your iPhone 4. With metal buttons for volume and power, two-tone colors, and a combination of rubber and molded plastic, Bumpers add a touch of style to any iPhone 4.
As soon as I get the phone, and the bumper, I will be posting a review!
